Managing RFID Settings in Cambrionix Connect

Overview​

RFID technology in Cambrionix Connect is designed to enhance the functionality of devices, specifically within the ModIT Boss module, which uses the RFIDeas RDR-80581AK0 model. The RFID settings are accessible via the Cambrionix Connect platform, enabling users to manage information captured from the RFID reader and interact with the API for a seamless experience.

Setting Up RFID​

  • Enable RFID Detection: The first use of an RFID card requires enabling RFID detection in the API. This setting allows Cambrionix Connect and the API to register the initial RFID event.
  • Card Registration: Upon scanning an RFID card, it appears in a list within the platform. Users can then assign a name to the card and specify the desired behavior for subsequent scans.
  • Export Settings: After configuring the cards, settings can be exported. This feature ensures that other versions of Cambrionix Connect maintain consistent RFID configurations.
