Introduction​

Organisations in Cambrionix Connect facilitate centralised management of devices, hubs, and user roles within a collaborative environment. This feature allows for streamlined operations across different users and teams, enhancing efficiency and control.

Key Features​

  • Unified Management: Organisations allow administrators to oversee and manage all connected hubs and devices under a single umbrella, simplifying administrative tasks.
  • User Roles and Permissions: Administrators can assign custom roles with specific permissions to users, ensuring that team members have appropriate access levels based on their responsibilities.
  • Shared Access: Users within an organisation can access and manage devices and hubs as per their roles, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Setting Up an Organisation​

  1. Creating an Organisation: A Cambrionix Connect account holder can create an organisation by navigating to the Organisations section in the settings. The process involves specifying an organisation name. Each organisation will be assigned a randomly generated ID in the format of:

  1. Inviting Users: Administrators can invite users to join the organisation by providing their email addresses. Invited users will receive an email notification to join the organisation upon accepting the invitation.
  2. Assigning Roles: Once users accept the invitation, administrators can assign roles to them, defining what they can view or manage within the organisation.

Managing Organisations​

  • Organisation Settings: Administrators have access to various settings for managing the organisation's name, ID, and users. These settings allow for the adjustment of roles, permissions, and access as required.
