Managing Hub Templates in Cambrionix Connect

The ‘Hub Templates’ functionality allows for the streamlined application of settings across multiple hubs, enhancing efficiency and consistency within your environment.

6.7.5 Hub Templates​

  • Purpose and Access: Enables the management of templates for internal hub settings, stored locally. Accessible through the settings menu, under 'Hub Setting Templates'.

Editing Templates​

  • Initial Creation: The first template must be created directly within the internal hub settings. After creation, these templates can be edited via the Hub Templates page.
  • Modification Process: Names can be changed by selecting and typing a new one, while settings can be adjusted using the edit (pencil) icon.
  • Finalisation: After editing, pressing 'OK' closes the window. Remember to save changes to avoid loss.

Copying Templates​

  • Duplication: Templates can be copied for use with multiple hubs, ensuring uniform settings across devices. Activation of the 'COPY' button is through selection of the template checkbox.

N.B. It's essential to save after copying to prevent the loss of the newly created template.

Deleting Templates​

  • Removal: Templates can be deleted using the delete icon. Similar to editing and copying, saving after deletion is necessary to finalize the removal process.
